Hello, dear blogger friends. I have been unable to post because I have been so busy with work. I have been making time to take pictures of my cat babies on Sunday mornings though! Here they are laying in the sun.

I also went on a lovely camping trip last weekend in the Pocono Mountains....

i'm here

a hiatus of sorts i have taken. because life has been overwhelming. busy. busy. busy. too much to do. too much working, not nearly enough dreaming. also sad things weaving their way through the last sunshiney rays of summer. a boyfriend possibly moving away. a brother gone. uncertainty. unassured. too much to think about. i'm just not ready for cinnamon and full moons under dark, swirling clouds and cool nights beneath black skies.

The Day

Today is my Birthday!! I am so excited! I am going out to lunch with my Mom and leaving work early for the day! I woke up to pretty cards and sunshine.

Prepare to fall in love with...

...Kelsey Genna! I recently discovered New Zealand based designer, Kelsey Genna while perusing the beautiful wares of Etsy. Her shop is totally amazing! Everything in it is beautiful and fit for a doll. Here are just a few of the gorgeous handmade clothes you will find, (these are some of my favorites!)

Kelsey combines lush velvets with flirty floral patterns to create one of a kind, unique pieces. I particularily love the high waisted shorts. The are so '70s inspired and adorable! I can just imagine a pair of white leather roller skates to go with these on a hot August afternoon:

Her line of prom dresses are perfect for any formal occassion. I love how each piece is trimmed with layers of beautiful fabric in delicious pastel colors and topped with a bow!

I've sooo been wanting to catch up on blogs, take pictures and pack etsy orders! I've been so busy though with work...and tired...And my mouse broke-Oh no!

she is so teeny tiny cute. I am so fascinated with black cats now.

When I see Sugar laying on my bed at lunch, I never wana go back!!!!!!!! All his soft and squeezy fur just makes me want to hug him all afternoon...

I just listed these new pony earrings in my etsy shop, I think they are so cute! I love velvet ribbon...I want to make more things with ribbon bows like these. What do you think?

and lastly i will leave you will an adorable little tidbit....here is little baby ruby getting snuggles and washes from her "sugar daddy"...it's cute overload!!! Hope you are all having a happy evening!! I will be sure to check up on everyone's posts soon!

It's Saturday! Ahh, no work today! Love it!

My best friend has lent me the 3rd Twilight book, Eclipse. I am very excited to read it (not ashamed to admit to addiction at all). In fact, can't wait for the New Moon movie....

New Kitten

This is my new kitten Ruby!

Yup, you guessed it...we're keeping her! (I hijakced this kitten from my dad--I gave him visitation rights though..hehe).

Sundays with Cosmo the custard bellied cat...

So, I have been meaning to post some pictures of my beautiful cat Cosmo, who is also called King Custard, because he rules the house and he has this amazingly soft white fur on his underside. He is really beautiful, but usually doesn't stay still for pictures, BUT he told me he felt left out cause Sugar is always getting all the attention on my blog. My weekend:

And my boyfriend made the most delicious grilled shrimp tacos! He made the salsa too-it was so perfect. I love spicy food. I love Sundays.

Ah! Sorry for not posting alllll week! I have just begun a new job and am sooo exhausted! I am also cat-sitting for my dad's new kitten! (pictures coming!!!) Tonight my aunt and uncle come to see my Grandma and my boyfriend and I are going to have dinner together! A real dinner, cause we haven't eaten together all week.
